Kings Thorn Pinot Gris – Aromas of quince, nectarine and melon dominate the nose with a slight nuttiness stemming from the oak influence. The palate is rich and opulent with notes of stonefruit and brioche. The wine’s vibrant acidity and phenolic structure help it finish long and dry.
Dambuster Pinot Noir – This Pinot Noir has a mixture of red berry fruit, dark cherry and savoury spice aromas and has a beautiful ruby red appearance. Vibrant fruit forward flavours continue the length of the palate, supported by juicy acidity, sweet savoury oak and fine tannins.
Allan Scott Cecelia Brut– When the bottle is opened the wine “pops” into life and you are immediately met with a fruity and floral character with notes of blossom, apple, pear and hints of ripe red berry fruits. Fresh, soft fruit entry with lemon and appley complexity and a crisp, clean finish.
Te Pa Noble Sauvignon – With its golden yellow colour, the Noble Sauvignon Blanc features beautiful tropical aromas of honeycomb, tropical fruits, and pineapple. On the palate, notes of caramel, melon, nectarine, fig, and citrus stand out. A wine with lovely balance, lingering flavour and acidity. A rich and viscous dessert wine.

Saint Clair Dawn Méthode Traditionnelle – It’s a celebration of and tribute to Dawn Ibbotson – an amazingly positive women who enjoyed good wine and good health from 1914 – 2020 (105 years). Disgorged with 35 months ageing on lees, this wine is elegant and complex with a rich palate and fine mousse. Drink as an aperitif or match with freshly shucked oysters. Dawn Ibbotson is the driving inspiration behind the creation of the Dawn series. Based on positivity, generosity, dedication to the community, uncompromising values and a desire to be her best.

]]>VITICULTURE Much of the fruit for this wine is from the Selection Ovaille and Mission clones grown at Wrekin Terrace Vineyard in the Brancott Valley, a valley floor site on gravelly clay-loam soils typical of the Southern Valleys. A smaller parcel of the Entav 52 clone (known for its small bunch and berry size) was grown at Riverbrook Vineyard in Rapaura, in young alluvial soils containing high proportions of greywacke river stones. The vineyards are trained on a two-cane VSP (vertical shoot positioning) trellis and crop thinning is carried out to target a modest yield of 7.5 T/Ha.

Average price per bottle is $31.63 now $26.88!
TASTING NOTES:
Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc – Imagine yellow-fleshed peaches, rock melon and blackcurrant – a sponge cake with lemon icing, chamomile and hints of rose petal. This is a delicately perfumed and deliciously ripe-fruited interpretation of Marlborough sauvignon blanc. The palate is both subtle and textural, showing considerable ripeness and concentration, with a crisp and long, juicy finish.
Toi Toi Brookdale Reserve Pinot Gris – This wine is elegant all round, from it’s pale straw hue to it’s mouth filling, richly textured finish. On the nose it displays lifted lime flower, white peach, pear and ginger with intense flavours encompassing white peach, mandarin and nougat.
Marisco The King’s Bastard Chardonnay – The cool climate nature of this wine is stated by aromas of nectarine, lemon pith and underlying oak. The palate starts strong with stone fruit flavours backed up by a subtle creaminess. Secondary characters of flint and toast help to create interest on the palate while a typical Marlborough acidity draws out the palate with a salivating finish.
Hunters Rosé – This Rosé is made in a vibrant, fruit driven style. Lashings of fresh raspberry, peach and nectarine make the wine supremely drinkable. The palate is unctuous, juicy, and dry to taste. We are proud that this wine is Certified Vegan by the NZ Vegetarian Society.
Nautilus Southern Valleys Pinot Noir – The Nautilus Pinot Noir is dark ruby in colour. The nose reveals lifted floral aromas, ripe wild blackberries, cherries and spices. The palate is medium bodied with good structure. Refined and balanced, this elegant wine shows good intensity and a lengthy finish.
Stanley Estate Lagrein – A quality, fruit driven wine, with a palate of Black Morello cherries, red plums, hints of Liquorice, tobacco, leather and vanilla. Soft on the nose, the effect of the oak maturation is subtle and noticeable, giving the wine balance, depth and structure with strong silky tannins and a spicy finish.
