Söderberg Single Vineyard Pinot Noir

Dark, deep ruby-red colour with purple hues. This has a full and evenly expressed bouquet of ripe dark raspberry and red cherry aromas. The nose is a little restrained with subtle reductive mineral notes present, gradually unfolding dark herbal nuances with oak toast and perfumed florals. Medium-bodied, rich and lusciously concentrated flavours of dark berry and raspberry fruit form a dense core. The mouthfeel has a slipperiness and sweetness, and the palate is very smooth flowing. Fine-grained tannins are in the background and lively acidity provides tension and energy. Though tightly bound, the concentration and linearity carry through to a very long, firm and fine finish with raspberry fruit, minerals and spice elements (vintage subject to availability).

This wine is exclusively available at The Wine Station.

Aromatic and subtle, expressive nose carrying cherry and a wisp of chocolate and nut flavours. Mirrors the traditional European style with well-structured body and good concentration with lingering oak length. The refined structured palate is long and firmly tannic while retaining its elegance.

Vines and grapes completely hand raised and hand crated exclusively from our single 1.1 Hectare home block at the base of the Wither Hills in Marlborough.

We use strictly organic practices to grow and manage the fruit and create the wine.

A limit of two bottles per purchase.

A refined mid palate, with great length of flavour. This wine will drink well anytime complementing seafood, as well as soft and hard cheese.
